Taking pictures has been my hobby since 1969 when my dad gave me my first SLR camera. It was a German made Exa Varex with waist level finder. Next year I spend all my summer savings and bought an Asahi Pentax S1A camera.
1970-1975 I was mainly taking the nature (birds) pictures.
1979-1982 I was teaching photography in Finnish Community Centers.
Since childhood my dream was to go to Serengeti National Park (Tanzania) with my cameras. 1989 we moved, as missionaries, to Tarime, Northern Tanzania and literally, Serengeti was like our back yard for four years.
1993 we moved to BC, Canada. Vancouver became our home city for next four years. Beautiful British Columbia inspired to move to the landscape pictures. Later on, we moved again inside Canada from Vancouver to Ontario, where all the four seasons are still inspiring us.
Taking the still pictures is the area what I really like, however since we now have high quality video cameras (HD) and easy digital editing programs, I have expanded my image productions to video shooting.
